I’ve always loved photography, but since becoming a mom I find myself sentimental and already nostalgic about the tiniest details of my son. The adorable expressions, the cute mannerisms, the way his hair will curl just a bit at the nape of his neck. I can’t be the only parent out there who looks at their little ones and thinks, “please just let me memorize the beauty of this moment.” I always strive to capture your family with the same love I feel for my own.

Deep breath! It’s your job to get everyone dressed and loaded in the car, but once you arrive it’s my job to take over. My family sessions are very laid back. We’ll explore, play, and run around outside! All you have to do as parents is interact with your kids, love on them, and embrace the chaos. I’ll give you direction when needed, but I love candid photography and have found the most meaningful photos are of real life moments.

Don’t worry - I keep my sessions laid back and lighthearted on purpose! I let the kids take the lead. We’ll play, chase, laugh, and explore together. My sessions are far from stuffy! I want to capture genuine emotion and connection, not just “smile at the camera.”

Sessions are typically scheduled for late afternoon or evening depending on the time of year. This ensures the best natural lighting.

I want your photos to turn out the best possible, and lighting is a big part of achieving great results! If the weather does not cooperate, we will reschedule the session and the original deposit will be moved to the new date.

You have both options! I offer professional prints you can order through your online gallery. I also will provide you with a print release so you can take your photos to a printing lab of your choice, if you so choose.
